Choose courses and fill in basic info

Visit the Choose Courses page and select which courses you need. Once you are ready proceed to Apply Now to fill our our basic screening application.

Make a payment

There is an administration fee of $40 associated with each course you have selected.

Confirm your student information and upload your documents

Once payment is successful, you will be given access to the ILC Portal to confirm your details and upload your personal and educational documentation. You may be asked to provide some or all of the following:  

 

 

Mandatory Documents


All applicants must include documentation of the following

Proof of Ontario Residency

Proof of Canadian Citizenship

Provide one of the following:
• Ontario driver’s licence
• Photo identification card
• Utility bill
• Lease or rental agreement
• Bank statement

Provide one of the following:
• Canadian Birth certificate
• Canadian passport
• Canadian Citizenship Certificate
• Permanent Residency Card
• Immigration Canada document indicating current refugee or landed immigrant status

For students under 18 years of age, we will accept documentation from the parent or guardian who will sign the application.

Applicants under 20 years of age 


All applicants under 20 years of age must include their academic record and out of school proof in their application.

Academic Record or Transcripts

Out of School Proof

One of the following:
• Ontario Student Transcript (OST),
• Credit Counselling (CCS)
• Evidence of Learning (for home schooled students)

Students Aged 18-19 must provide one of the following:
• Date of Leaving letter
• Credit Counselling Summary (CCS)

Students under 18 years of age and/or home- schooled students must provide:
• A current copy of Appendix C - Letter in Response to Parent’s Notification from your local school board

To obtain this document, please download this home schooling package, complete it and send it to your local school board. If approved, you will receive Appendix C (Must be on board letterhead).

Start your courses!

After submitting your documents you will immediately have access to the courses you have purchased from the ILC Portal.

Application review and transcript assessment

An ILC Guidance counsellor will review your academic record and recommend which courses to take in order for you to earn your high school diploma.

Choose your courses and get started!

Log in to the ILC Portal and choose the courses you must take in order to receive your high school diploma. Afterwards, you can immediately start your course work!
